2020 Project: Clickbaited / Ashley02

Created for our final VFX project of the year, 'Clickbaited' is the result of the result of the prompt 'clickbait' and how we interpret that. For this project, I went with the idea of a girl losing herself to clickbait in order to achieve online fame, and in turn losing her identity to the online persona she created.

For this project I created my own concept art, character designs, script, storyboard, and animation. In the animation presented, you can see green chroma keying - this is because I wanted to key in static effects to show how she is out of touch with the real world, slowly becoming more and more online. She starts to see clickbait appear in the real world too.

The art direction of this project was heavily inspired by Robert Valley and Victoria 'Vewn' Vincent.

Final Animation Result, created in Clip Studio Paint EX after a series of weeks.
